After a string of five wins, Dougherty's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of Peach County.

Dashaun Robinson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double. That double was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Marcus Heath, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Dougherty's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Peach County, the win (which was their 19th in a row) raised their record to 24-2.

Looking ahead, Dougherty will head out on the road to take on Baker County at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Peach County, they will be playing at home against Perry at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
