Basketball Game Preview: West Vikings vs. Highland Scots

The West Vikings will take on the Highland Scots at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. West is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.

On Friday, West took a blow against Tehachapi, falling 67-18. The contest marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Highland had to suffer through a 92-24 loss at the hands of Bakersfield Christian. The Scots have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for West, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.

West strolled past Highland in their previous meeting back in November of 2021 by a score of 51-36. Will West repeat their success, or does Highland have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
