Basketball Game Preview: Hemet Bulldogs vs. Orange Vista Coyotes

The Hemet Bulldogs and the Orange Vista Coyotes will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday without much rest having both just played. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hemet has seven straight wins, Orange Vista has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

In Wednesday's Canine Competition, Hemet prevailed. They took down Orange Vista 57-40 on Wednesday. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 346th, while the Coyotes are ranked 857th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hemet has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.1 points per game. As for Orange Vista, their loss dropped their record down to 5-14.
