Baseball Game Preview: Pace Academy Knights vs. Mays Raiders

Pace Academy has gone a perfect 4-0 against Mays recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Pace Academy Knights will challenge the Mays Raiders at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Pace Academy has three straight wins, Mays has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Pace Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Mays 25-1 on Friday. With that victory, the Knights brought their scoring average up to 7.7 runs per game.

Nelson is becoming a predictor of Pace Academy's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 2-6 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Alston Mallis, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
