Hardaway has gone a perfect 7-0 against Sumter County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Hawks will welcome the Panthers at 5:30 p.m. Hardaway is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.
Hardaway barely beat Westover the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hawks blew past the Patriots 17-7 on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Hawks considering their one-run performance the game before.

Tyris Black was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jeremy Williams, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.
Hardaway always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .632. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Sumter County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against Jordan, falling 17-2.
Sumter County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Dutcher, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Dutcher has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.
Hardaway's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Sumter County, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-15.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Hardaway has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 13 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Sumter County struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 9.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Hardaway got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April of 2025 against Sumter County by a conclusive 16-1 score. Do the Hawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
