After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Colfax, Mira Loma was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Marysville Indians with a sharp 4-1 victory. The Matadors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Marysville with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Emily Negrete-Quintero (2), Esther Jung, and Iliana Kelsch.

Mira Loma's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-5. As for Marysville, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-12 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mira Loma will square off against Wheatland at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marysville, they will face off against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
