Sutton gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 74-12 win over the Superior Wildcats. The Mustangs pushed the score to 68-11 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wildcats had no chance of recovering from.

Avery Smith had a dynamite game, shooting 83% from the field on her way to 21 points. Another player making a difference was Kali White, who posted eight points along with five assists and four steals.

Sutton was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Superior only posted three.

Sutton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-40 victory against Freeman on the 6th. As for Superior, they have also already played their next contest, a 71-24 loss against Tri County on the 6th.
