            The JW North Huskies will head out on the road to  square off against  the Canyon Springs Cougars  at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday.
JW North is headed into the  contest out to prove that what happened against Poly  on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. JW North took a  blow against Poly, falling  73-41. The Huskies were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  41-16.
Meanwhile, Canyon Springs waltzed into their game  on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They strolled past the Mustangs with  points to spare, taking the game  47-31.
JW North better focus on containing  Kaleayah Marshall and  Izabella Tejada as the pair were huge in Canyon Springs' win. Marshall  dropped  a double-double on 18 points and 15  rebounds, while  Tejada  almost  dropped  a double-double on 11  points and nine  boards. That makes it four consecutive games in which  Marshall has scored at least a third of Canyon Springs' points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alyssa Munoz, who  posted six  points.
