Basketball Recap: Sienna Robles Key Part of a Team Effort in Conquistadores Win

Don Lugo's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past the Workman Lobos 37-12. That's more bragging rights for the Conquistadores, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Don Lugo got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sienna Robles out in front who posted six points in addition to seven boards and four steals. Another player making a difference was Maya Hodges, who put up six points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Don Lugo now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Workman, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Don Lugo won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against San Marino at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. San Marino has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Workman, they will challenge Bolsa Grande at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
