Softball Recap: Grove Has No Trouble Against Hulbert

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grove). They blew past the Hulbert Riders 13-1 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Grove and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Hulbert, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Grove will be playing in front of their home fans against Kansas at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hulbert, they will challenge Vian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
