Volleyball Recap: St. Thomas Aquinas Takes a Loss

St. Thomas Aquinas lost against Pope John Paul II back in September of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Falcons fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, St. Thomas Aquinas sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 23-25, 15-8.

St. Thomas Aquinas has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-8 record this season. As for Pope John Paul II, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-13.

St. Thomas Aquinas didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Covington on the 25th. As for Pope John Paul II, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against St. Amant on the 25th.
