West Monona came tearing into Saturday's match with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.1 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Trinity Christian Tigers 7-1. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won 15 games by six runs or more so far this season.

West Monona's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-6. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Trinity Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

West Monona will be playing at home against AHSTW at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Trinity Christian, they will venture away from home to square off against Harris-Lake Park at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
