Soccer Recap: Aragon Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Aragon can now relate to. They fell just short of the Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Dons couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Tessa Matthews, who's now up to four this season.

Aragon's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.

Aragon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, they will venture away from home to challenge Salinas at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Salinas will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory surely won't give up without a fight.
