Football Recap: Make It Two in a Row for Goldthwaite

A well-balanced attack led Goldthwaite over Meridian in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. The Eagles never let the Yellowjackets get on the board and left with a 61-0 win. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Eagles had established a 54-point advantage.

The victory made it two in a row for Goldthwaite and bumps their season record up to 6-3. The team dominated over those games too, winning by an average of 57.5 points. As for Meridian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
