Softball Recap: Palisade Comes Up Short

Palisade was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 16-3 to the Widefield Gladiators.

MacKenzie Gray made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season.

Palisade's loss dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Widefield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Palisade nor Widefield have any future games scheduled.
