Mt. Pleasant's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They had just enough and edged the San Jose Bulldogs out 1-0. The win continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.

Mt. Pleasant's one-goal win came courtesy of EMILY ESPINOZA, who's now up to four this season.

Mt. Pleasant now has a winning record of 6-5. As for San Jose, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Pleasant will face off against Oak Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for San Jose, they will take on Del Mar at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
