Softball Recap: Timnath Comes Up Short

The Timnath Cubs didn't have quite enough to beat the Dakota Ridge Eagles on Friday and fell 9-8. The Cubs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hailey Kejr led a balanced group of hitters, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoe Rummel, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Timnath now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Dakota Ridge, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Timnath has already played their next contest, a 17-2 win against Rangeview on the 22nd. As for Dakota Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 13-0 victory against Thompson Valley on the 22nd.
