SkyView Academy barely beat Lyons the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Everything went the SkyView Academy Hawks' way against the Lyons Lions on Thursday as the SkyView Academy Hawks made off with a 70-49 victory. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Markus Lloyd continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 25 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Reagan Lewis, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds.

SkyView Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lyons only seven assists.

When it comes to explaining why Lyons lost, don't look at Caleb Christiansen. Despite the final result, he posted 18 points in addition to six steals and five boards. The game was Christiansen's sixth in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Jake LaCrosse, who scored six points and 11 rebounds.

SkyView Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points over those games. Lyons' defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-8.

SkyView Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 58-50 win against Bishop Machebeuf on the 1st. As for Lyons, they have also already played their next game, a 52-46 loss against Heritage Christian on the 1st.
