The Oakdale Mustangs and the Enochs Eagles will compete for holiday cheer at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Oakdale's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past Golden Valley 4-0. That's two games straight that the Mustangs have won by exactly four goals.

They hit Golden Valley with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Shelby Mitchell, Ashlyn Splettstoesser, Dakota Burford, and Kyleigh Melconian.

Meanwhile, Enochs entered their tilt with Franklin on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victor by a 6-0 margin over the Yellowjackets. That looming 6-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Eagles yet this season.

Enochs' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Oakdale, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
