Basketball Game Preview: Jenkintown Drakes vs. MAST Community Charter Panthers

The Jenkintown Drakes will venture away from home to square off against the MAST Community Charter Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jenkintown's defense has only allowed 28 points per game this season, so MAST Community Charter's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Last Friday, Jenkintown was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 27-23 to Upper Darby.

Meanwhile, MAST Community Charter ended up a good deal behind St. Hubert Catholic for Girls on Monday and lost 42-28. While the Panthers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating St. Hubert Catholic for Girls 13-9 in the first quarter.

Jenkintown now has a losing record at 2-3. As for MAST Community Charter, they now have a losing record at 0-1.

Jenkintown couldn't quite finish off MAST Community Charter when the teams last played back in January and fell 37-35. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of MAST Community Charter's Rylie Fitzsimmons, who posted seven points in addition to 15 rebounds and five assists.
