Basketball Game Preview: Clarion-Limestone Lions vs. Otto-Eldred Terrors

The Clarion-Limestone Lions will head out on the road to face off against the Otto-Eldred Terrors at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Clarion-Limestone beat Elk County Catholic 43-37. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Otto-Eldred had no problem doing just that on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Panthers 61-26. The Terrors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

Clarion-Limestone better focus on containing Baylee Francis and Rayel Hakes as the pair were huge in Otto-Eldred's win. Francis went 6-for-8 on her way to 15 points, while Hakes went 5-for-6 to rack up 10 points and four steals. That's the most steals Hakes has posted since back in February of 2024. Addie Bell was another key player, putting up seven points.

Clarion-Limestone's record now sits at 15-7. As for Otto-Eldred, their record now sits at 21-4.
