Basketball Game Preview: Louisville Royals vs. Notre Dame (SO) Knights

The Louisville Royals are taking a road trip to take on the Notre Dame (SO) Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Saturday, Louisville ended up a good deal behind Brentwood School and lost 57-42. While losing is never fun, the Royals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 181st, while the Eagles are ranked 36th).

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Notre Dame (SO)'s good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 64-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dos Pueblos.

Notre Dame (SO)'s defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Louisville, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Louisville didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Notre Dame (SO) in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 50-46 win. Does Louisville have another victory up their sleeve, or will Notre Dame (SO) turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
