Football Recap: Festus Skates Past Howell Central with Ease

Festus won the last time they faced Howell Central and things went their way on Friday too. The Tigers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Spartans 35-7. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Tigers just coasted through the last quarter.

Festus has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 21 points this season. As for Howell Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Festus will be playing at home against Windsor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Tigers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Howell Central, they will face off against Vianney at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
