Soccer Recap: Troup County Takes a Loss

Troup County lost against Northside back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Troup County Tigers came up short against the Northside Patriots, falling 4-0. Augusto Merida was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Troup County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Northside, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. This will be Fayette County's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Northside, they will square off against Griffin at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
