Basketball Recap: Etna Takes a Loss

Etna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against the Weed Cougars, falling 72-33. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-28 two weeks ago.

Etna's defeat dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Weed, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 20-6.

Etna wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 63-27 loss against Modoc on the 12th. As for Weed, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-53 win against Trinity on the 12th.
