Softball Recap: Palmer Ridge Starts Season with Win on the Road + How To Watch

Palmer Ridge had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 13-10 win over the Pueblo West Cyclones on Wednesday. That's more bragging rights for the Bears, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The team relied heavily on Corinna Arellano, who fired off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kayleigh Garcia, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.
