Soccer Recap: Firebaugh Comes Up Short

Firebaugh lost to Mayfair back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Falcons lost 3-0 to the Monsoons. While losing is never fun, Firebaugh can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1021st, while Mayfair are ranked 461st).

This is the second loss in a row for Firebaugh and nudges their season record down to 5-14-3. As for Mayfair, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Firebaugh nor Mayfair have any future games scheduled.
