Softball Recap: Martensdale-St. Mary's Wins Going Away Against East Union

Martensdale-St. Mary won the last time they faced East Union and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Blue Devils were the clear victors by a 12-3 margin over the Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Blue Devils, who have now won five matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Martensdale-St. Mary's has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for East Union, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Looking ahead, Martensdale-St. Mary's will challenge Lenox at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Union, they will welcome Orient-Macksburg at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
