On Friday Drew Ferguson tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. The effort marked the fewest hits Ferguson has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his ninth in a row with less than two walks. On the year, he has an ERA of 1.48 over 42.7 innings pitched.

Ferguson's strong effort led West Monroe over Ruston and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
