Softball Recap: Blue Springs Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Blue Springs duked it out with Lee's Summit on Monday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 4-3 to the Tigers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Blue Springs dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Lee's Summit, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blue Springs will host Lee's Summit North at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Wildcats their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Lee's Summit, they will be playing at home against Park Hill South at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
