Centennial has gone 8-2 against Northview recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Knights will look to defend their home field against the Titans at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Centennial and eight for Northview dating back to last season.

Centennial came up short against Chattahoochee on Friday, falling 13-5.

Carlos Marquez was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of David Perkins, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Northview's offense. They lost 7-0 to Duluth on Friday.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Northview, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Northview's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Centennial has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.8 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Northview, though, as they've been averaging only 4.2 strikeouts. Will Centennial keep running through batters, or will the Titans buck the trend?

Centennial beat Northview 11-6 when the teams last played back in March of 2025. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
