Basketball Recap: San Diego Jewish Academy Takes a Loss

San Diego Jewish Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Foothills Christian Knights, falling 43-17. The Lions lost against the Knights in their previous head to head back in February of 2018, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 1-0 score last time.

San Diego Jewish Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Foothills Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Diego Jewish Academy has already played their next match (against Guajome Park Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Foothills Christian will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Del Lago Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Foothills Christian's defense has only allowed 22.7 points per game this season, so Del Lago Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
