La Serna is 9-1 against El Rancho since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The La Serna Lancers will venture away from home to take on the El Rancho Dons at 5:15 p.m.

Last Wednesday, La Serna was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 49-43 to Santa Fe.

Meanwhile, El Rancho hadn't done well against Whittier recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. El Rancho came out on top against Whittier by a score of 37-25.

El Rancho's win bumped their record up to 18-6. As for La Serna, their loss dropped their record down to 15-9.

La Serna strolled past El Rancho in their previous matchup on January 8th by a score of 60-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for La Serna since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
