Sprayberry is 0-3 against Riverwood since March of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Sprayberry Yellow Jackets will challenge the Riverwood Raiders at 8:00 p.m. Sprayberry is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.2 goals per game this season.

Sprayberry had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the four-goal drubbing they dealt Wheeler on Tuesday. Sprayberry was the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over Wheeler. The victory continues a trend for the Yellow Jackets in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won four in a row.

Sprayberry hit Wheeler with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Maaziah Brown (2), Jean-Marcel Sylvain (2), and Gavin Brown.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Riverwood's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Cobb.

Riverwood's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Sprayberry, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.

Sprayberry might still be hurting after the 5-1 defeat they got from Riverwood in their previous matchup back in April of 2021. Can Sprayberry avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
