Baseball Game Preview: Griffin Bears vs. Jonesboro Cardinals

Griffin is on a six-game streak of home losses, and Jonesboro an eight-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Griffin Bears will welcome the Jonesboro Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Griffin fell victim to Harris County and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 11-0. That's two games in a row now that the Bears have lost by exactly 11 runs.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Jonesboro faced off against Central on Thursday. Jonesboro lost 11-1 to Central.

Jonesboro saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isiah Osby III, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Jonesboro's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Griffin, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.
