Preview: Clovis East vs. Buchanan
Clovis East is 0-9-1 against Buchanan since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Clovis East Timberwolves will head out on the road to challenge the Buchanan Bears at 6:00 p.m. Clovis East's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Last Tuesday, neither Clovis East nor Central could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.
Clovis East avoided a loss thanks to
Mckarah Lopez and
Trinity Moua, who posted both of Clovis East's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 26 so far this season.
Meanwhile, Buchanan unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Clovis North by a score of 2-1. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Buchanan in their matchups with Clovis North: they've now lost four in a row.
With that draw, Clovis East's record moves to 10-4-8. As for Buchanan, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5-4.
