Baseball Recap: Alpharetta Takes a Loss

Alpharetta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 5-2 to the South Forsyth War Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the War Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 4-0 defeat last Wednesday.

Alpharetta's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for South Forsyth, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Alpharetta will square off against rival North Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, South Forsyth is set to challenge their familiar foe Denmark at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
