Basketball Recap: Red Lion Falls Short of Dallastown in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Red Lion can now relate to. They took a 40-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dallastown Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 33-26 loss back in January.

Red Lion's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Julia Sedora, who went 8-for-16 en route to 21 points and six rebounds, and Bekah Sedora, who went 5-for-11 on her way to 12 points and five boards. Julia continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Red Lion's loss dropped their record down to 23-2. As for Dallastown, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 10-1-1.

Red Lion wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 50-29 win against South Western on the 17th. Dallastown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
