Center Point-Urbana owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. Everything went their way against the Wilton Beavers as they made off with an 8-0 win. The Stormin' Pointers not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since June 11th (when they won 9-1).

The victory made it two in a row for Center Point-Urbana and bumps their season record up to 18-12. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Wilton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.

Coming up, Center Point-Urbana will look to defend their home field on Monday against Vinton-Shellsburg at 5:30 p.m. As for Wilton, they will challenge West Branch at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
