Soccer Recap: Westmont Has No Trouble Against Gunderson

Westmont kept a clean sheet against Gunderson on Thursday. They blew past the Gunderson Grizzlies 4-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-2 on January 14th.

Lujyne Shalaby and Lily Bankosh scored all four of Westmont's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Westmont's victory bumped their record up to 3-10-1. As for Gunderson, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westmont has already played their next game (against Lincoln), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Gunderson will challenge Willow Glen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Willow Glen's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
