Basketball Recap: Westmoor Takes a Loss

Westmoor lost against Lowell back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Westmoor Rams lost to the Lowell Cardinals on the road by a 56-42 margin. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Patriceia Walsh continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lowell, going 10 for 17 on her way to 28 points in addition to eight rebounds and five steals. Walsh is becoming a predictor of Lowell's success: when she posts at least three steals the team is undefeated (and 1-3 when she doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Tandoc, who posted ten points.

Westmoor's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Lowell, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westmoor will venture away from home to square off against Live Oak at 4:00 p.m. on December 21st. As for Lowell, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Lowell Cardinals duke it out with the San Mateo Bearcats at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
