Volleyball Recap: Frenship Comes Up Short

After a string of three wins, Frenship's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Andrews Mustangs by a score of 2-1. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2019.

Frenship came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-23, 25-23.

Frenship's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Andrews, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Frenship has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Boerne-Champion on the 16th. As for Andrews, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Holliday on the 16th.
