Soccer Game Preview: Christian vs. High Tech SD

The Christian Patriots are taking a road trip to take on the High Tech SD Storm at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Monday, Christian came up short against Santa Fe Christian and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 496th, while Santa Fe Christian are ranked 149th).

Meanwhile, High Tech SD was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to Canyon Hills.

Christian now has a losing record of 3-4-3. As for High Tech SD, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9-1.

Christian got the 'W' when the teams last played back in January of 2025 against High Tech SD by a conclusive 6-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
