Softball Recap: Beatrice's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Beatrice waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the McCook Bison 14-2. The Orangemen have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bison, too.

Beatrice got a massive performance out of Tatum Tempelmeyer, who fired off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 2-for-3. Those five RBI gave Tempelmeyer a new career-high. Callie Schwisow was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and one triple.

Beatrice was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .538. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in 12 consecutive contests.

Beatrice's victory bumped their record up to 14-4. As for McCook, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Beatrice has already played their next game, an 11-1 win against Nebraska City on the 16th. As for McCook, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 13-6 victory against Highway 6 on the 15th.
