Football Recap: Hubbard Comes Up Short

Hubbard fell victim to Goldthwaite and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Eagles, falling 65-0. The shutout was out of character for the Jaguars seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

This is the second loss in a row for Hubbard and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Goldthwaite, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Hubbard will look to defend their home field on Friday against Chilton at 7:00 p.m. The Pirates' defense has only allowed 2.4 points per game this season, so the Jaguars' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Goldthwaite, they will face off against Frost at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
