Basketball Recap: Upper Darby Takes a Loss

Upper Darby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the Lower Merion Aces, falling 48-28. While losing is never fun, the Royals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 416th, while the Aces are ranked 157th).

Lower Merion found their leader in freshman Clara Rendle, who went 6 for 11 to rack up 17 points. Another player making a difference was Alexa Braslow, who posted seven points and five assists.

Upper Darby's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Lower Merion, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.

Upper Darby does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lower Merion, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 37-28 victory against Radnor on the 6th.
