Venice is 3-0 against Birmingham since December of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Venice Gondoliers will head out on the road to take on the Birmingham Patriots at 2:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Venice is headed into the matchup having not lost since November 22 and will look to keep things rolling. They and El Camino Real finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Birmingham fell victim to Bishop Alemany and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that the Patriots have lost by just one goal.

With that draw, Venice's record moves to 5-1-3. As for Birmingham, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Venice came out on top in a nail-biter against Birmingham in their previous matchup back in February, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Venice since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
