Softball Recap: Bethany Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Bethany's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Perry Maroons on Monday. The Bronchos have struggled against the Maroons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Bethany saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jules Barger, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Bethany's defeat dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Perry, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 22-14 record this season.

Bethany does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Perry, they will take on Crooked Oak at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
