Weeping Water won the last time they faced Nebraska Lutheran and things went their way on Friday too. The Weeping Water Indians snuck past the Nebraska Lutheran Knights with a 47-43 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Weeping Water's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kalison Miller, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Brinkley Mcadams, who had 11 points.

Despite the loss, Nebraska Lutheran still got an impressive performance from Rebecca Hueske, who earned 20 points and six steals. Hueske is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Hueske, who put up 11 points and six steals.

Weeping Water's record is now 6-1. As for Nebraska Lutheran, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Weeping Water wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 44-25 defeat against Raymond Central on the 27th. As for Nebraska Lutheran, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Osceola at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
