Dylan Kirkendall posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. He struck out four batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.
